Relapse: Clinical Significance

Relapse represents a critical juncture in the clinical trajectory of eating disorders. It is not merely a recurrence of symptoms but a profound clinical event that signifies a significant shift in the patient-clinician relationship and the overall trajectory of recovery.

Understanding the clinical significance of relapse is essential for developing effective management strategies. This research focuses on how clinicians perceive these events and the decision making used to detect eating disorder relapse.
